Irosif Syrup

Irosif Syrup

Irosif Syrup is a nutritional supplement combining Ferrous Ascorbate and Folic Acid, designed to treat and prevent iron deficiency anemia and folate deficiency, particularly in children, pregnant women, and individuals with dietary deficiencies.

Overview

Irosif Syrup is a hematinic medication formulated to address iron and folate deficiencies. Each 5 ml contains Ferrous Ascorbate equivalent to 30 mg of elemental iron and 550 mcg of Folic Acid. Ferrous Ascorbate is a highly bioavailable form of iron combined with ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), which enhances iron absorption in the gastrointestinal tract. Folic Acid, a form of Vitamin B9, is essential for red blood cell formation and DNA synthesis. This syrup is commonly prescribed for iron deficiency anemia, anemia due to chronic conditions, and during pregnancy to support maternal and fetal health. It is particularly useful for individuals with low iron intake, such as children, pregnant women, or those with chronic blood loss. Irosif Syrup helps restore iron reserves, boosts hemoglobin levels, and promotes overall energy and immune function.

Key Benefits:

  • Treats Iron Deficiency Anemia: Replenishes iron stores, increasing hemoglobin and red blood cell production to combat fatigue and weakness.
  • Supports Folate Deficiency: Folic Acid aids in red blood cell formation and prevents folate deficiency anemia.
  • Enhances Energy Levels: Improves oxygen transport, reducing tiredness and boosting energy, especially in active individuals or athletes.
  • Promotes Fetal Development: During pregnancy, it supports brain and spinal cord development in the fetus, reducing the risk of neural tube defects.
  • Strengthens Immune Function: Adequate iron and folate levels support the body’s defense against infections.
  • Improves Cell Growth: Facilitates oxygen utilization and cell proliferation for overall health.
